The Jun Peking Chinese Restaurant is one of the oldest Chinese restaurants in Barnet. Established in 1983, it is located in the lively town of Hendon. 

 

For over 30 years, The Jun Peking Chinese Restaurant offers delicious Chinese cuisine specialising in Peking, Szechuan and Cantonese dishes. Dishes are prepared using fresh and high-quality ingredients by our team of chefs. The chefs aim to create cutting-edge, healthy and nutritious dishes that excite palettes.

 

Ingredients such as Gai Choi (Chinese Cabbage), Bitter Melon, Tong Choi (Water Spinach), Red Beans and Udon Noodles are amongst the many that are used to achieve that aim. 

 

We understand that presentation is key therefore the chefs spend great effort in decorating dishes. Carrot crafted garnishes are used to uplift the personality of a dish.

 

Our team of chefs have decades of experience from having trained in Hong Kong and China, and worked in London China Town's most prestigious restaurants. Que Hoa Ly is one of London's most accomplished chefs. He has been producing mouth-watering dishes for over 30 years in the renowned Golden Dragon Restaurant before joining us in 2008, demonstrating his passion towards Chinese cuisine.

 

The restaurant seats up to 60 people and has a bar available for private hire. The bar offers a wide range of popular wines and spirits. A TV is on when there are important broadcasts.

 

Filled with ancient paintings and lanterns, the restaurant gives off Oriental ambience. There is a friendly and warm atmostphere here between the diners and staff.
